We caught up with Hendrickson at TMC for a closer look at its WATCHMAN system, a new approach to monitoring wheel-end health that builds directly on the company’s existing tire inflation platform.
At a high level, WATCHMAN adds a sensor to Hendrickson’s hubcap assembly, turning a traditionally passive component into a data source. The system measures tire pressure at the wheel-end, along with temperature and vibration, giving fleets a clearer picture of what’s happening where failures often start.
