The RT™ has been the industry standard for over 70 years. The RT provides the same unsurpassed durability, stability, and traction for all vocational applications. The extended-leaf design, RTE, offers a smoother ride when empty or lightly loaded, and excellent stability when loaded.
Hendrickson-designed springs provide a consistent spring rate for longer spring life.
RTE extended leaf design provides a softer vehicle ride—empty or lightly loaded.
Equalizing Beams distribute load equally between both axles for improved traction. Lower center of gravity increases stability.
Durable high confinement rubber center bushing (standard on 40,000-lb. capacity) offers reduced maintenance for fewer rebushings over the life of the vehicle.
Heavy-duty bronze center bushing is standard on 46,000-lb. to 52-000-lb. capacity suspensions.
Transverse rod arrangement recommended for refuse or severe service operations. Standard with axle spacing of 60" or more.
Available with 52, 54, 56, 60, and 72.5 inch equalizing beams.
Ideal approval for with lift axles.
Optional shock kit available to improve ride.

1. Installed weight includes suspension, torque rods, axle brackets, and frame brackets.
2. SITE TRAVEL RATING—Operators using vehicles equipped with liftable tag or pusher axles must not exceed published ratings. Ratings are limited to no more than 5% of vehicle operation at speed not to exceed 5 mph. Liftable tag or pusher axles should only be raised (or unloaded) to improve vehicle maneuverability in off-road use or when vehicle is unloaded. Site travel ratings are consistent with published axle manufacturer's limitations. Axle and suspension site travel ratings cannot be exceeded.
