marketing support program for truck service facilities installing
Hendrickson Genuine Parts.
Pro-Genuine affiliation delivers an extensive array of tools to assist
professional truck service providers to enhance customer satisfaction
including comprehensive training of technicians, technical support,
marketing materials and promotional offers.
“The Pro-Genuine program creates a unique partnership with professional
truck service providers installing genuine Hendrickson aftermarket products,
especially spring and suspension specialists,” reports Guy Vachon,
Hendrickson director of aftermarket.
Hendrickson supplies a self-study Hendrickson truck suspension and service
training course in textbook and web-based formats, aimed at both the parts
counterperson / parts manager and shop technician / service manager
functions.
A network of Hendrickson regional service managers provide ongoing technical
support and training assistance to affiliates, and a toll-free phone line
brings access to technical support and training materials.
Marketing tools include a listing in the shop locator feature on the
Hendrickson website and coordinated point-of-sale materials which include an
LED message board and sign, door decals, counter mats, logo caps, bay
banners, wall flags and mouse pads. The program will also offer periodic
scorecard-based promotions.
Enrollment fee includes program administration and all materials with
Hendrickson subsidizing program supplies at less-than-cost. Plans call for
additional subsidized promotional elements including outdoor illuminated
signage.
