Understanding Air-ride Rolls Off the Presses
CANTON, OHIO – The latest edition of Hendrickson’s popular Understanding Air-ride booklet rolled off the presses with three informative new sections and valuable updates throughout.

Expanded to 40 pages, Hendrickson International, Trailer Suspension Systems, launched industry-wide circulation of the customer-driven publication (L761 Rev A) through its sales staff, dealer network and website (www.Hendrickson-intl.com).

In addition to expanding many of the 12 original topics, the current edition explores three new topics in relation to trailer air-ride systems: features and options, control systems and aftermarket.

Readers should also find updated and broadened sections on brake efficiency, loading dock solutions, wheel ends and tire care extremely informative. The publication also features overviews of air-ride technology, roll stability, controlling ride height, slider repositioning and spec’ing tips.

Air-ride suspensions continue a steady increase in popularity in nearly all segments of the trailer industry. In 1996, air-ride accounted for 36 percent of the industry, while today that level stands at more than 66 percent.
