CANTON, OH - Officials of Hendrickson International reported Gary Gerstenslager was named
executive director of the trailer suspension systems division
highlighting key organizational changes.
Joseph Ross, recently named
president of Hendrickson International in addition to his continued
direct responsibility as trailer division president, announced all
manufacturing operations, manufacturing support departments,
marketing and procurement will report to Gerstenslager in this newly
created role.
Gerstenslager joined Hendrickson in 1989 as a
manufacturing engineering manager, was named director of
manufacturing engineering in 1996 before assuming the post of
director of operations.
In addition, Perry S. Bahr stepped up to
director of operations for trailer suspension systems, and Brian E. Beheydt assumed duties as plant manager of Hendrickson’s Lebanon,
Ind., facility replacing Bahr. The four trailer division plant
managers report to Bahr.
An 18-year Hendrickson employee and Lebanon
plant manager since 1999, Bahr has held a broad range of
manufacturing engineering and operations positions in the truck and
stamping divisions as well as the trailer division.
Bahr earned a
bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Western Illinois
University.
Elevated from assembly production/materials manager for
Hendrickson’s Clarksville, Tenn., plant, Beheydt has held a number
of posts in production, customer service, aftermarket and materials
since joining the trailer division in 1993.
Beheydt holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of
Akron.
