managers and owner operators converting RT™ / RTE™ suspensions to air ride with
the AR2 ™ conversion kit.
Truckers choosing to upgrade with an AR2 kit will receive two center-beam
bushings and four end-beam bushings free, a value worth up to $875.
For more than five years, AR2 has proven it provides haulers with air-ride
suspension benefits of a smoother ride and enhanced equipment protection, while
maintaining the RT / RTE advantages.
Hendrickson builds the AR2 with heavy-duty components to meet the rigorous
demands of rugged applications with features to help reduce vibration, adjust to
changing load and road conditions, maintain constant ride height and decrease
downtime.
The patented Hendrickson AR2 draws on the heritage of the industry’s original
walking-beam air-ride suspension, the AR, introduced in 1957.
The conversion kit includes two trailing arms, shock absorbers, transverse
torque rods, height-control valves, air springs and frame hangers. Existing beam
assemblies, cross tube and longitudinal torque rods remain from the RT/RTE
suspension.
