Stephenson, Walter Named to Top Truck Suspension Positions at Hendrickson

WOODRIDGE, IL — Hendrickson International, a leading supplier of heavy-duty truck and trailer suspension systems and components to the global transportation industry, has named two of its executives to new positions.

Keith Stephenson is named president, Truck Suspension Systems & Global Business Development and Mike Walter has been named general manager, Truck Suspension Systems.

Stephenson replaces Guy Cassidy, who has left the company to pursue an entrepreneurial career opportunity. In his new role, Stephenson will have overall responsibility for the operations and strategic direction of the Truck Suspensions Systems business and will also retain his current responsibilities for sales, business development activities and international operations.

Starting as a plant controller at Hendrickson's Stamping division in Joliet, Illinois in 1985, Stephenson has held numerous management positions in finance, marketing, manufacturing and business development.

Walter, who was previously director, operations for Hendrickson's Truck Suspension Systems manufacturing and distribution facilities in North America, takes on added responsibility as Truck Suspension General Manager, reporting to Stephenson. In this position, Walter will have responsibility for the management of manufacturing, assembly and distribution facilities in the United States, Canada and Mexico and also will oversee materials management and marketing. In addition, Walter will also be responsible for Hendrickson's Customer Excellence Centers-just-in-time service facilities that supply OEM manufacturers in the United States and Canada.
