ITASCA, Ill. — Mark Slingluff assumed duties in the new position of director of
marketing communications for Hendrickson.
Baine Adams, vice president of North American sales and marketing at
Hendrickson, announced Slingluff’s promotion to the newly created post in
recognition of the increasing scope of marketing and communications functions
required for broader product development and enhancement of brand awareness.
Slingluff continues to be based in Canton along with the marketing
communications staff. The change formalizes the company-wide span of his
responsibilities including advertising, trade shows, external publications,
public relations and communications support of administration, sales and
marketing for the Hendrickson organization.
He was elevated from communications manager of the trailer division, a post he
held since joining the company in 2000. He came to Hendrickson with 15 years of
experience in the tire industry with Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Kumho Tire and
Continental-General Tire.
Currently completing a master’s degree at Walsh University, Slingluff earned a
bachelor’s degree in communications from Akron University and an associate
degree in visual communications from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
