Joseph Ross, president of Hendrickson International, reported all operations including manufacturing, purchasing, marketing, quality assurance, accounting, engineering and human resources will report to Gerstenslager in his new role.

Gerstenslager will continue to direct Hendrickson’s Manufacturing Excellence program.

For the past eight months, Gerstenslager served as executive director of the trailer division. He joined the company in 1989 and transformed the division into an efficient, state-of-the-art manufacturer of fabricated, machined and assembled systems.

He was named director of manufacturing engineering in 1996 and became director of operations in 1998.
