HEBRON, Ohio – Hendrickson introduces COMPOSILITE™ STS, a new 13,500-pound
capacity, severe-duty model, to complement the proven COMPOSILITE ST family of
lift axle systems.
COMPOSILITE, the low maintenance and compact family of suspensions, proves its
versatility once again. While the COMPOSILITE ST, FBC and FX continue to be
industry leaders, the new severe-duty truck suspension is not far behind.
The COMPOSILITE STS stands out from the rest of the COMPOSILITE family by its
severe duty application range. Utilizing nodular iron trailing arms, the STS is
recommended for refuse, logging and other predominately off-road applications.
Adding only 40 pounds to the COMPOSILITE ST suspension, STS weighs in at only
867 pounds. Continuing with a tradition of versatility, the new STS is available
in ride heights ranging from 8.5 to 18.5 inches.
Like the rest of the COMPOSILITE family, the STS is equipped with in-line air
springs for added protection and a compact design. Zero-torsion bushings help
eliminate bushing windup, and the two-piece knuckle design provides extended
king pin performance.
