Hendrickson Announces Name Change for its Bumper Division
ITASCA, Ill. – Hendrickson officials announce the name change of the Crest Hill, Ill., bumper division from Hendrickson Stamping to Hendrickson Bumper and Trim.

“In 2004, the decision was made to focus the business on its core bumper product while expanding into unique trim components”, states Keith Stephenson, chief development officer of The Boler Company and president of Hendrickson’s international business.

This decision formed the basis of an overall business direction to be a complete supplier of metal and nonmetal bumper and trim components to the commercial vehicle industry. “Hendrickson’s goal is to combine superior products with full service engineering, design and distribution capabilities to provide value to our customers,” says Doug Sanford, general manager, Hendrickson Bumper and Trim.

“The move into trim products was facilitated by the development of our proprietary HENDRICKSON AERO BRIGHT (HAB) product,” adds Stephenson. “This technology provides the commercial vehicle industry with unique solutions for brilliant chrome-like, nonmetal bumpers and trim.”

“As a leading supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, this name change is a logical progression that represents Hendrickson’s focused commitment to bumper and trim products and the ever-changing needs of our customers,” notes Sanford.

Hendrickson, a Boler company, is one of the largest global suppliers of truck and tractor suspensions, trailer suspensions, truck and trailer lift axles, bumpers and trim components and springs to the commercial transportation industry. Headquartered in Itasca, Ill., Hendrickson has been meeting the needs of the transportation industry for more than 90 years.
