TIREMAAX® automatic tyre inflation systems provide a basic, responsive approach to help extend tyre life and increase fuel efficiency. These patented systems draw from the trailer air supply to keep your trailer tyres properly inflated and rolling smoothly.

TIREMAAX comes in two configurations: TIREMAAX EC (Electronic Control) and TIREMAAX CP (Constant Pressure), the difference is the control unit. TIREMAAX EC features an electronic control unit that provides full system programming and monitoring. TIREMAAX CP features a pneumatic pressure regulator and a straight forward mechanical design.

TIREMAAX delivers a reliable, durable approach for maintaining proper inflation levels. The system monitors pressure in all tyres and directs air to one or more tyres when they dip below the preset level.

The problem of improper tyre inflation remains one of the most significant maintenance issues facing the industry today. Studies show that improperly inflated tyres can greatly reduce fuel economy and decrease tyre life. Incorrect tyre inflation may also lead to compromised braking, poor handling and reduced stability.

    • Pre-programmed with pressure settings from 4.8 bar to 9 bar
    • Checks tyre pressure every 10 minutes
    • Non-pressurised seals and lines — when not inflating
    • LED power indicator on ECU
    • Blink codes on ECU for troubleshooting
    • Trailer-mounted indicator alerts operator to system status
    • Indicator comes on when tyre pressure is low by 1.3 bar or more
    TIREMAAX® CP

    TIREMAAX CP controller
    • Comes preprogrammed in pressure settings from 4.8 to 9 bar
    • An integrated pressure control unit allows target pressure to be reset
    • Checks tyre pressure continuously without pressurising the axle or wheel ends
    • Indicator comes on when system flow exceeds approximately 2 litres per minute
    • Trailer-mounted indicator illuminates only when maintenance is required
