Hendrickson’s continuing product development has re-defined the installation procedure for rubber end bushings. The new Rotating Bar Pin End Bushing is the latest development to bring more value to the installer.
With a unique design, bushings can be replaced in less time, saving on labor costs and re-work from incorrectly installed bushings.
Once pressed into the beam, the new rubber end bushing can now be rotated to the correct angle for a perfect installation the first time, every time. The design incorporates Hendrickson’s genuine, high quality rubber products as used on the original suspension with a hardened steel bar pin. Only a standard shop wrench is required to rotate the bushing, so no special tools are required. The bushing becomes fixed at the required angle when the installation is complete and will not continue to move once the truck is back in use.
The new rotating end bushing can be purchased as a complete installation kit under part # 34013-188L and includes shims for ease of alignment as well as all approved hardware. Each kit includes one bushing, so four are needed for a complete re-bush job. The new rotating bar pin end bushing will work anywhere a current 34013-088L is used. These include the popular R, RT, RTE, HN, and HAULMAAX® series suspensions.
