Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems is the clear leader in the design and manufacture of trailer air suspensions. Initially, trailer air was used primarily in furniture vans, platforms, and specialty trailers, where Hendrickson dominated with a technologically superior product offering. Today, we design and manufacture air ride suspensions for on- and off-highway vans, platforms, and specialty trailers throughout the world. The HT model suspension, introduced in 1990, became the industry standard for light weight, durable cost-effective air ride technology.
In 1995, we scored a technological breakthrough with the introduction of INTRAAX® which is the first air ride suspension to integrate suspension, axle and brakes into one system. INTRAAX immediately gained acceptance of fleet operators around the globe.
Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems is truly a worldwide supplier, with customers throughout Europe, Mexico, South America, and Australia. For the fiercely competitive European market, Hendrickson has formed partnerships with some of Europe's leading trailer air manufacturers to develop new technologies and increase market penetration.
Trailer Suspension Systems is headquartered in Canton, Ohio. The facility includes a state-of-the-art test laboratory, along with an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing facility. Manufacturing innovations there and at our other ISO 9001-certified facilities in Indiana, Tennessee and South Dakota also enhance the products of other Hendrickson Divisions.
