INTRAAX® AANLS

Low-Ride Height Short-Beam Suspension System

INTRAAX AANLS LOW-RIDE HEIGHT SHORT-BEAM

The AANLS 20K extends all of the durability, low maintenance and low weight advantages of INTRAAX® to trailers requiring a highly compact, low ride height suspension system. Designed for performance on autohaulers, moving vans, drop-frames, high-cube vans and pup vans, the AANLS 20K delivers an air ride package that is more than 120 pounds per axle lighter than comparable suspensions.

Hendrickson recommends reviewing our application guide when choosing the suspension that best meets your needs.

  • Ride heights of 6.25, 7, 9 and 12 inches
  • Shortened trailing arms provide a compact profile, ideally suited to the tight confines of autohaulers and drop frames
  • Choice of 15-inch brakes (needed for 19.5-inch tires) or the conventional 16.5-inch brakes (used with 22.5- and 24.5-inch tires)

Low Maintenance and Convenience Save Time and Money

  • Maintenance requirements minimized
  • Simple, functional design with fewer parts — that means fewer parts to wear out
  • QUIK-ALIGN® — fast and easy axle realignment requires no welding or special tools
  • Pivot Bushings — proven technology for mile after mile of trouble-free service
  • Single source for comprehensive technical support, training and warranty

Performance Plus

  • Low spring rates deliver superb ride quality
  • Rigid trailing arm, solid axle connection proven to be the most stable design
  • Pivot Bushings optimize ride softness and control
  • Large bore shocks with greater fluid volume, premium seals and bonded bushings for extended life
  • High-capacity air springs with low-operating pressures for rapid air-up
  • Quality-controlled assembly, including ABS sensor testing

Responsive and Consistent Stopping Power

  • Industry's only standard Cam Tube System enhances S-cam alignment and extends life
  • 10-in. S-cam eliminates windup and reduces bushing wear
  • Up to a half inch less stroke required
  • Provides more braking reserve and increases safety — without the cost of long-stroke chambers
  • Lower air consumption, critical for ABS performance
  • Faster application and release cycles
  • Heat treated components for greater durability

Superior Axle Design

  • Neutral-toe axle improves mileage and tire life
  • Advanced axle wrap and window weld for optimal structural integrity
  • Brake hardware welded to trailing arms rather than axle, minimizing axle stress
  • Spindle and spider mounting surfaces machined after friction welding to ensure precise brake geometry and wheel positioning for maximum brake life and efficiency
  • Wall thickness to match application demands

Worry-Free Integrated Systems From a Single Source

  • 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty on axle/beam connection

1. Capacity refers to suspension and axle ratings. Ratings for brakes and wheel-end components differ depending upon options chosen.

2. Suspension ride heights must be set within Hendrickson specifications in order to provide load equalization among axles and to ensure proper suspension performance. Failure to maintain proper ride height settings can lead to suspension, axle or trailer damage.
